This lesson will use a variety of graphics to visually explain Munsell's concept of identifying a color by its hue (including the temperature of that hue) its chroma, and its value.
When you mentally break down each color you want to represent into these characteristics, I think you'll find it's much easier to arrive at an accurate result. This may feel cumbersome at first, but with practice, it will become automatic. The lesson that follows is a video exercise that will ease you through making these assessments.
